Today is the perfect day to share my love of juicing and to encourage anyone who is considering adding fresh juice to their daily diet to try it out. For the past two years I have been juicing daily and my life has been enhanced in many ways. My state of mind has improved and I'm much more positive and energetic than I was in the past. My hair and skin are healthier and my weight is easy to maintain.
When I started juicing I used carrots, apples, oranges and wheat grass.
My current juice consists of carrots, apple, cucumber, lemon, broccoli, beet, chard, kale, dandelion greens and radishes.
I highly recommend adding lemon to make it extra refreshing.
I juice enough for the morning and afternoon, but I also add snacks like natural peanut butter with ground flaxseed and raw honey to keep my energy up between juices.

Hi Ann-Marie! My son was diagnosed with Autism in September and since then I have completely changed his diet and the difference is amazing! He is talking more and making more eye contact. My middle daughter has Celiac Disease so she is completely Gluten-Free. We decided since we were doing it anyway for her that we should try it with our son. He is also Casein-free and I've been juicing all of his fruits and veggies, adding vitamins with his juice. My hubby and I are going to try juicing ourselves this year too. Thanks for a great post!
Happy New Year!
Kim
Sounds like a great New Years resolution! Thank you. Happy New Year! ~Amy
I started juicing two years ago also and I have managed to get off all prescription meds. I feel great and need much less sleep than before. Juicing really is fantastic!
Hi,
I have a quick question about your blog, do you think you could e-mail me?
Brian
Hello
I have been considering getting a juicer, I like the idea of adding the lemon and cucumber, apple to sweeten. Do you have a juicer you could recommend? I have a kitchen aid blender and before I haul it out from storage I just was curious to know if you used a blender or a vitamix or something else. Thanks so much,
Julie
